We are excited to host the 4th annual Beyond the Paddle Virginia Beach event on Saturday, May 9 on the Chesapeake Bay beach here at Virginia Beach Resort Hotel! Register for the event here.
Beyond the Paddle is a local community event in Virginia Beach that invites all to come out and enjoy a great day outdoors and on the water! There will be paddle board races for all ages, a beach walk, obstacle course, raffles, prizes, food and live music.
Beyond the Paddle founder, Mia Capps, started this event 4 years ago to to create family-fun while also raising funds for local charities. This year’s proceeds will benefit the Beyond Boobs Organization, Children’s Hospital of the King’s Daughter, and the Janice Capps Scholarship Foundation*. The goal is to bring awareness, prevention and support to the Tidewater community as we remember the lives that have been affected by cancer, and is open to all!
The event is hosted by Happy Winds Kiteboarding and Watersports and Tula Adventure Sports and is located at the Virginia Beach Resort Hotel and Conference Center. Food is provided by the Trade Winds Restaurant. Check out their menu here.
Register for this event online** here, you won’t want to miss it!
